The ABCA and D3baseball.com announced their All-Region teams today and three Hobart Statesmen were among the honorees. The ABCA named senior pitcher
Teck Nash to the region's second team, while junior first baseman
Sean Garvin and first-year shortstop
Jack O'Neil earned a spot on the third team. D3baseball.com recognized Nash and O'Neil with second team accolades.

The 2026 Liberty League Pitcher of the Year, Nash broke the Hobart season records for starts (14) and innings pitched (82.0) and matched the record for wins (7) this season. His 50 strikeouts this season rank fifth on Hobart's single season list. Nash ranks sixth in the nation in games started, 14th in walks allowed per nine innings (1.21), and 49th in strikeout-to-walk (4.55). He matched his career-high with eight strikeouts in a winning effort against St. Lawrence in March.

Nash appeared in 44 career games for the Statesmen, starting 36. His career record is 13-15 with a 4.72 ERA in a program record 227.0 innings. He struck out 136 batters and walked just 44. His 1.74 walks allowed per nine innings is the lowest in program history. Nash is a three-time All-Liberty League selection and earned a spot on the ABCA Regional All-Defensive Team last season.

A second team All-Liberty League pick, Garvin hit a team-leading .398 with a Hobart season record 19 doubles, five triples and six home runs. He scored 51 runs (tied with O'Neil for the most in a Hobart season) and drove in 50. Garvin collected a season-high four hits in a Liberty League Tournament win over RIT. He produced three games with a season-high four RBIs, including a two-home run game against No. 14 Mount Union in an elimination game in the NCAA tournament. Garvin also completed the finest field season in Hobart history, recording 369 putouts and 26 assists without committing an error.

Garvin has played in 118 games over the past three seasons, hitting .316 with 30 doubles, six triples and eight home runs.

The 2026 Liberty League Rookie of the Year, O'Neil hit .369 with nine doubles, three triples and a home run. He scored 51 runs (tied with Garvin for the most in a Hobart season) and drove in 31. O'Neil led the Liberty League with 28 stolen bases, including a season-high three at Franklin & Marshall. He had two four-hit games this season, going 4-for-4 with a home run at Rochester and 4-for-6 with a season-high five RBIs against Keuka.

Hobart finished the 2026 season with a 32-15 record, eclipsing nearly three dozen team and individual season records. The Statesmen topped the program marks for wins in a season, runs, hits, and doubles among many others. Hobart made just the second NCAA tournament appearance in program history and first since 1992. The Statesmen went 2-2 at the Salisbury Regional, defeating Mount Union twice for the program's first wins over a nationally ranked opponent.
