Hobart and William Smith Athletics will welcome founder of PWT Solutions and mental attitude coach Joe Lamphere to kick off the 2026 Napier Leadership Seminar and Peak Performance Plan series. Lamphere will present the "Bulletproof Mindset" at the Smith Opera House beginning at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

"We're incredibly excited to welcome Joe Lamphere to campus and kick off this year's series with a message centered on building a strong, resilient, champion mindset," said Brittany Krivicich, assistant athletic director of sports performance. "Joe's perspective on the 'Bulletproof Mindset' will give our students valuable tools they can carry with them both in competition and in their everyday lives. We're looking forward to an impactful evening and a great start to this year's series."

With over 20 years of experience training military personnel, law enforcement officers, corporate leaders, and high-performing teams, Lamphere is no stranger to preparation for high-stake environments. His work focuses on developing the mindset, discipline, and decision-making processes needed to perform effectively under pressure.

The Napier Leadership Seminar is a life skills program established in 1996 that hones the skills of Hobart's athletes and coaches. It helps participants achieve their potential and perform at high levels in the classrooms, in competition, and in their personal lives. The Napier Leadership Seminar is designed to develop, challenge, and support the athletes and coaches in their ongoing pursuit of excellence.

The Peak Performance Plan is a comprehensive educational initiative to enhance the lives of Heron scholar-athletes and coaches. The curriculum includes personal and athletic development through the education and empowerment of women and coaches of female scholar-athletes. The program emphasizes leadership and life skills development.
