The Cynthia Oyler '93 Award is presented to the William Smith senior student-athlete who will be continuing her education at the postgraduate level within the year and displays outstanding athletic abilities, excellent academic records, and exemplary leadership.

Dr. Cynthia Oyler '93 was a four-year member of the varsity field hockey team and played an integral role on William Smith's 1992 National Championship team. She was a finalist for the 1993 NCAA Woman of the Year Award and is a 1997 graduate of Penn State Medical School.
