The Hazel Nettleship Hardy '65 Award is presented to an outstanding William Smith athlete in her middle years who has contributed to the growth of William Smith athletics and is an excellent representative of William Smith students.
Hazel Nettleship Hardy '65 was extremely active in many aspects of college life, as a varsity swimmer and golfer, in the William Smith Athletics Association, as a writer for the Herald, and a staff member for WEOS. She later served in a number of offices in the Alumnae Association and was vice president of the Hobart and William Smith Club of New York.
