Slack won all four of her singles matches, guiding the Heron tennis team to a 4-0 week. She also teamed up with her sister, #Amanda Slack#, for three doubles victories. Playing at No. 3, Melissa defeated RIT's Lindsey Gibson (6-1, 6-0) and Geneseo's Julia Passik (2-6, 7-5, 6-1). At No. 2, she topped Brockport's Erin McLaughlin (6-0, 6-1) and Cortland's Kara Kaufield (6-4, 6-1). The Slack sisters posted wins at No. 1 doubles vs. the Golden Eagles and Red Dragons, and earned a second doubles victory vs. the Tigers.
