Hobart and William Smith Colleges Athletics

Statesmen first-year defensive end Tyre Coleman led the Hobart defensive charge with 2.5 sacks that wiped out 21 yards rushing as the Statesmen football team shut out defending Liberty League champions, St. Lawrence, 23-0. Coleman added five tackles and recovered a fumble in the win. He leads the conference with 4.5 sacks this season. The Hobart defense limited the Saints to just 84 yards of total offense and allowed just 59 yards rushing to the Saints, who came into the game with the league's leading rusher.
