D'Addario took home the top prize, the Winn-Seeley Award, at the 2013 William Smith Athletics Awards Banquet. She made the switch from the Heron soccer team to the cross country team after her sophomore season. She had never run cross country before, but that did not stop her from becoming one of the most outstanding runners in William Smith history. D'Addario won the first three races she ran and went on to record a total of nine career victories, breaking course records on five occasions. She was named the 2011 Liberty League Cross Country Rookie of the Year and earned USTFCCCA All-Atlantic Region honors in her rookie season. D'Addario became just the second Heron to ever run in the NCAA Division III National Championship. She not only excelled on the course, but also went above and beyond in the classroom. D'Addario was a three-time Liberty League All-Academic honoree. She was named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-District team, and was tabbed a USTFCCCA All-Academic selection in both 2011 and 2012. D'Addario became one of only 29 female fall sport student-athletes across all three NCAA divisions to receive an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. She is just the 10th Heron student-athlete to receive this prestigious scholarship. D'Addario also received the cross country team's Sharon Peckham Best '62 Most Valauble Cross Country Award for the second year in a row.
