Sass finished fifth in a field of 50 golfers at the 36-hole Palamountain Invitational. On the McGregor Links Country Club par 72 layout, he was five over par for the tournament, five strokes off the lead. Sass shot a four over 76 in Friday's first round, putting him in a tie for 13th place. On Saturday, he shot a career-best 73, tied for the second best, second round score of the tournament.
