Mings scored the game-winning goal for William Smith in a 2-1 come from behind victory over Utica on Saturday afternoon. The victory was the Herons first win over the Pioneers in seven tries and capped a late game comeback for William Smith. Trailing 1-0, the Herons scored two goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation to complete the comeback. It was just the second time in program history that William Smith won a game while trailing entering the third period. Mings leads all Heron first-years with seven goals and 13 points.
