Aalto made a career-high 50 saves in William Smith's 3-1 victory over Nazareth on Saturday. With the win, the Herons advanced to the UCHC semifinals for the third straight year. After allowing an early goal in the second period, Aalto stopped the final 33 shots she faced. The 33 saves in the final 40 minutes of regulation would also have been a career-high. Aalto is 6-1-0 this season with a .920 save percentage and a 2.37 GAA.
