Latasha Coney logged a game-high 18 points to go with a game-high seven assists, six steals, and five rebounds for the Herons.

Ashlinn Barber, a native of nearby Spencer, produced 16-points in what amounted to a home game for her, while junior
Erin Cunningham notched her first double-double of the season on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Lindsay Brown paced four Bombers in double figures with 17 points. Tracy Bradley and Megan Rumschik chipped in 13 and 11 points, respectively, while Katherine Bixby narrowly missed a double-double with 10 points and nine boards.
Neither team led by more than four points in the first half as William Smith (3-2) used a 6-0 run to end the first half with a 26-24 lead. Barber had a game-high 11 points at the break.
The game was tied 36-all with 14:05 to go in the second half when Ithaca (4-3) seized control with eight unanswered points. Coney hit a jumper with 5 minutes to go to cut the Bombers' lead to just three, but Brown hit back-to-back threes to inflate the advantage to nine, 64-55.
The Herons chipped away at their deficit, getting within a single points, 68-67, when Coney converted a steal into a layup with 38 seconds left. She stole the ensuing inbounds pass and William Smith called timeout.
Mollie Danahy's three-point try with 11 seconds left was off the mark and Bixby corralled the carom, forcing the Herons to foul. Bixby made both of her free throws and two more with less than a second left to seal the victory.
William Smith shot 45.5 percent from the floor, but struggled from behind the three-point arc, converting just 1-of-16. Ithaca shot 40.4 percent from the floor and made 22-of-31 free throws. The Herons earned just nine trips to the line, making six.
William Smith is back on the court on Dec. 9, when the Herons visit the University of Rochester. The opening tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
