PRINCETON, N.J.—The Hobart College squash team fell to Stanford 5-4 tonight in the semifinal round of the Conroy Cup, the D Division of the College Squash Association Team Championships. The Statesmen slipped to 7-11 overall.
Winning for Hobart was junior
Alex Khaddar at No. 5, first-year
Kevin Kent at No. 6, junior
Craig Chircop at No. 7, and first-year
George Riggs at No. 9. Khaddar won the closest match of the night, holding on for a 6-9, 4-9, 10-8, 9-4, 9-2 win over Cardinal Wyant Hong.
The Statesmen will wrap up their season tomorrow, Feb. 22, when they take on Northwestern at 11:30 a.m. Hobart defeated Northwestern once already this winter, 5-4 back on Nov. 15.
