The Hobart lacrosse team will host second-ranked Syracuse on Tues., March 23, at 7 p.m. The game will be televised live by Time Warner Cable Sports.

The contest marks the 96th meeting between Hobart and Syracuse. The Orange hold a 68-25-2 series lead. The second oldest rival on Hobart's schedule, only the Statesmen and Cornell have played more times (130).

Hobart (2-3) leads the nation in faceoff winning percentage (.630) and is ranked 10th in scoring defense (8.4 gapg) and saves per game (12.4). Sophomore midfielder Bobby Dattilo is third in faceoffs (.656) and 12th in ground balls (5.4), while senior goalie Max Silberlicht is sixth in save percentage (.596) and 13th in goals against average (8.53).

The Orange is 4-1 and ranked among the national leaders in faceoff winning percentage (4th, .595), saves per game (5th, 13.2), ground balls (5th, 37), man-up offense (6th, .545), and scoring offense (8th, 12.4 gpg).

Due to the on-going renovations at Boswell Field, Hobart lacrosse fans are reminded that all home games will be held at McCooey Field. Game day parking will be available in the Odell's South Lot, the Medbury Lot, and at the Geneva Center. Parking adjacent to the field will be restricted to handicap patrons only. There is no parking in the Boswell Lot due to the construction.

Tickets are $5 for general admission, $1 for children under 12.
