GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College tennis team fell to Ithaca 5-4 tonight at the HWS Tennis Center. The Herons slip to 12-4 on the year, while the Bombers improve to 15-4.

Melissa Slack earned a come-from-behind victory over Melanie Cohen at third singles, 5-7, 6-1, 6-1. First-years
Remy Raevsky and
Hallsey Leighton also picked up singles wins. Raevsky defeated Sarah Hollis 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4, while Leighton defeated Laurel Salladay 7-5, 6-1 at No. 6.
Raevsky also earned a doubles victory, teaming up with sophomore
Katie Serock for an 8-3 win vs. Cohen and Salladay at No. 3.
The Herons will be back on the courts this weekend, April 24-25, when they travel to Canton to compete in the Liberty League Tournament.
