CANTON, N.Y.—The third-seeded William Smith College tennis team fell to fourth-seeded St. Lawrence 5-4 today in the Liberty League Tournament. The Herons finished fourth in the tournament and end their season with a 13-6 overall record. The Saints close out their season with a 12-5 mark.

Hallsey Leighton all earned singles wins for William Smith. Slack defeated Chelsea Hubbell 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3, Raevsky topped Shannon Murphy 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4, and Leighton earned a 4-6, 7-6, 12-10 victory over Sara Willet at No. 6.
Sophomores
Joanie Hilton and
Jess McCue teamed up for the lone doubles win. They downed Saints Stephanie Finn and Casey Gilman 8-6 at No. 1.
