The Hobart lacrosse team will take on Air Force in their ECAC Lacrosse League finale at noon (2 p.m. ET) on Saturday, April 30 in Colorado Springs, Colo. The Statesmen and Falcons will meet for just the third time, with Hobart a 2-0 series lead.

The Statesmen are coming off a hard-fought 11-8 loss at then No. 20 Loyola. Hobart began the week first in the league and fourth in the nation in faceoff winning percentage (.648). Junior midfielder Bobby Dattilo has taken 99 percent of the faceoffs for the Statesmen. He began the week as the league leader and seventh in the nation in faceoff winning percentage (.646). Dattilo also leads the team and is eighth in the nation with 87 ground balls (6.69/g). Junior attackman Sam Miller paces the Hobart offense with 26 goals and 29 points. He's recorded at least one point in 23 consecutive games. Senior long-stick midfielder Alex Caton and junior defenseman Sean Regan share the team lead with 16 caused turnovers a piece, one off the Hobart season record.

Air Force is heading into the final weekend of play looking to build off an 18-9 win against Presbyterian. The Falcons began the week ranked in the top 20 in the nation in ground balls per game (16th, 33.25). Senior Vinny Sandtorv leads the Falcon offense with a team-high 30 points and 24 goals.  Senior Brian Wilson has started all 12 games in goal for Air Force and has played the majority of minutes. He sports an 8.85 GAA and a .480 save percentage.
