GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith tennis team edged St. Lawrence 5-4 to take third place in the Liberty League Championships played at the HWS Tennis Center this morning.
The third-seeded Herons wrap up their season with a 16-4 mark, setting a new program record for wins in a season. The fourth-seeded Saints finish their season with a 10-3 overall record.

Hallsey Leighton and sophomore
Remy Raevsky edged Justine Rusk and Sarah Willet, 9-7. Leighton and Raevsky improved their doubles record to 22-8 this season.

Kiara Ocasio topped St Lawrence's Liz Greer 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Ocasio is now16-6 in singles this year. Junior
Joanie Hilton registered her 21st win of the season with a 6-0, 6-4 victory at No. 4, and senior
Melissa Slack picked up a 6-2, 7-6 win at No. 5. Slack is now 16-6 this season. Raevsky earned her second victory of the day and 16th of the year, defeating Rusk at No. 6, 6-0, 6-2.
