Rehbaum named Liberty League Performer of the Week

Hobart College junior guard Connor Rehbaum was named the Liberty League Men's Basketball Performer of the Week by the conference office today. He averaged 27.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 2.0 spg, 1.0 apg, 1.0 bpg in a 2-0 opening week for the Statesmen.
 
Rehbaum scored a game and career-high 29 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, handed out two assists, and blocked two shots as Hobart rallied from a 15-point second half deficit to defeat Rochester 83-73. He was 7-of-10 from beyond the 3-point arc against the Yellowjackets.
 
Against Ithaca on Friday, Rehbaum scored 25 points, grabbed six boards, and came up with four steals in a 76-67 Hobart win.
 
For the week, Rehbaum shot .455 from the floor, .643 from 3-point range, and .682 from the free throw line. He leads the Liberty League in scoring and 3-point field goal percentage and is sixth in rebounding.
 
Hobart will make its first road trip of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 26, when the Statesmen visit Buffalo State (2-2). This will be the fifth meeting between the two schools. The Bengals beat Hobart 80-74 in Geneva last season, but the overall series is tied 2-2.
