The William Smith tennis team earned a 7-2 win over host RIT in its final match of the regular season in Rochester, N.Y., this afternoon. The Herons improved to 11-6, and the Tigers dropped to 1-8.
William Smith, which is ranked No. 19 in the Northeast Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, came out of doubles play ahead 2-1. Senior

Kathleen Kennedy downed their opponents 8-3 at No. 3.

Teru Greene rallied for a 4-6, 7-6, 10-6 victory at the top singles spot. Nicoletti notched her second win of the day 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3. Sophomore
Haley Wolf blanked her competition 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4. First-year
Sydney Arsenault posted a 6-2, 6-4 triumph at No. 5, and classmate
Charlotte Federowicz breezed to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6.
The Herons will compete in the Liberty League Tennis Tournament this weekend, May 3-5, which will be hosted by RIT.
