The Cougars finished first in the Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) Freedom regular season, but were upset in the MAC Freedom tournament semifinals by Wilkes. After playing to a scoreless draw, the Lady Colonels advanced to the championship game 5-3 in penalty kicks.
