GENEVA, N.Y. – The William Smith College tennis team collected a 9-0 win over Liberty League foe Rochester Institute of Technology in Bristol Field House this afternoon.
The Herons (2-2) took an early 3-0 lead at the conclusion of doubles play. Junior

Taylor Ferrari bested Marie Jubert and Kelsie Redburn 8-4.
In singles play, William Smith won in straight sets at Nos. 1-4. At No. 3, Greenberg notched a 6-1, 6-0 win over Jubert. Denton clinched the overall match for the Herons with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Brianna Dimisko. More's second win of the day came at No. 1 singles where she beat Ying 6-3, 6-1. First-year
Connie Froass extended the Herons lead with a 6-3, 6-4 win in the No. 4 spot. Cattie collected her second win of the day at No. 6. She topped Redburn in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 12-10. First-year
Sydney Ferry closed the match, rallying to defeat Alyssa Hering, 4-6, 7-6(7-3), 10-7.
William Smith returns to Bristol Field House tomorrow at 10 a.m. The Herons will take on Ithaca in a non-conference match.
