Geneva, N.Y.-The William Smith College tennis team improved to 2-1 in Liberty League play with a 9-0 victory over Bard in Bristol Field House this afternoon. The Herons are 7-5 overall after back-to-back wins.

In singles play, the Herons lost just three games winning in straight-sets in all six spots. More, who is ranked No. 23 in the Oracle/ITA Division III Northeast Singles Rankings, improved to 13-4 with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 over the Raptor's Lily Schwartz. William Smith will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they travel to the North Country to take on St. Lawrence. The match with the Saints is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.Â
