LEWISTON, Maine- The Hobart College squash team dropped a match to 18th ranked Bates 9-0 at the Bates Squash Center this afternoon. The loss drops the Statesen to 2-7 on the season.

The Bobcats (6-2) controlled the match winning 3-0 in seven of the nine spots. McLeod Abbot clinched the overall victory at No. 8 with an 11-5, 11-3, 11-8 win. Â The closest match of the day came in the No. 3 spot. Junior
Jack Shannon and Anirudh Nambiar battled to a fifth game. Nambiar won 9-11, 11-9, 8-11, 11-9, 12-10.

Hobart will conclude its four-game road trip tomorrow morning when they face Bowdoin. The match in Brunswick, Maine is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
