CLINTON N.Y.-The Hobart College squash team rallied to defeat Bowdoin 5-4 at Hamilton College this afternoon. With the win, the Statesmen improve to 6-2 on the year.

Jack Shannon clinched the overall victory for Hobart defeating Gannon Leech 3-1 in the fourth spot. Shannon, who is now 4-2 this year, won 11-4, 6-11, 12-10, 11-8. The Statesmen took an early 2-1 lead in the match with wins at No. 3 and No. 9. Sophomore
Ilyas Khan collected a 11-8, 11-8, 11- win over George Cooley in the third spot, while first-year
Trevor Laing defeated Travis Rase 13-11, 11-5, 11-5 at No. 9. Khan is a team best 6-2 this year while Laing is 4-2. Senior
Terrance Rose gave Hobart a 3-2 lead win the match with a 3-0 victory in the second spot. He topped Satya Butler 11-7, 14-12, 11-6.

The Polar Bears won the next two matches to take a 4-3 lead in the match but junior
Josh Oakley bested Ian Squires 11-7, 11-8, 11-6 to give Shannon a chance to win the match.

The Statesmen will be back in action tomorrow when they take on the University of Virginia in Ithaca, N.Y. The match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
