GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College lacrosse team will host the 136th meeting with Cornell University on Boswell Field on Saturday, Feb. 25. The opening faceoff is scheduled for noon.
General admission tickets are $5. Children ages 3-12 are $2. Children 2 and under are free.
The Statesmen (1-1) are coming off a 16-15 win over Siena last Saturday. Senior
Frank Brown produced a career-high six points on three goals and a career-high three assists against the Saints. His effort earned him the Northeast Conference Player of the Week Award. Brown has a team-high eight points on four goals and four assists this year. Sophomore

Hobart's offense is averaging 15.5 goals per game, which is ninth in the nation. The Statesmen have scored 31 total goals in two games this season. The Statesmen haven't scored that many in the first two games of the year since netting 32 in 1995.
Cornell (0-1) is looking to rebound from a 20-10 season-opening loss at No. 11 Penn State. Jordan Dowiak led the Big Red with a pair of goals against the Nittany Lions.
The New York rivals first met in 1898 with Hobart taking a 2-1 victory in Ithaca. Cornell leads the series 85-46-4. The Big Red have won each of the past 12 meetings, including a 10-8 decision last year in West Palm Beach, Fla. The Statesmen last topped Cornell in 2004, scoring a 12-10 win in Geneva.
