Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. – The William smith College tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Bard at the Stevenson Courts this afternoon. The Herons improve to 9-7 on the year and 2-3 in Liberty League play.

William Smith closed out the match with six straight sets singles wins. Perron and Foley won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Perron is a team-leading 14-10 in singles in her Rookie campaign while Foley improves to 11-9. Denton and Cattie won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 and No. 5, respectively. First-year

The Herons will be back in action tomorrow, April 23 when they face Union at 11 a.m. William Smith needs a win tomorrow, and a win on Saturday, April 29, against Rensselear to clinch a spot in the Liberty League tournament.
