GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College lacrosse team will host Northeast Conference rival Saint Joseph's University on Saturday, March 24. The opening faceoff on Boswell Field is scheduled for noon.

Hobart (3-4, 1-0) opened NEC play this past Saturday with an 11-5 win at Wagner College. First-year
Ryan Archer produced a season-high seven points on two goals and five assists, junior
Matthew Pedicine won 16-of-20 faceoffs and picked up a career-high nine ground balls and sophomore goalie
Sam Lucchesi made a career-high 10 saves.
The Statesmen are ranked in the top 20 in the nation in caused turnovers (10th, 8.43/g), faceoff winning percentage (14th, .577), turnovers (15th, 12.0/g), ground balls (16th, 30.86/g), and clearing percentage (17th, .898).
Junior
Chris Aslanian leads the team with 28 points on 15 goals and 13 assists. Sophomore
Justin Scott has scored a team-high 17 goals. Pedicine is second in the NEC and ninth in the nation with a .651 winning percentage at the X, while Lucchesi leads the league and is ninth in the country with an 8.19 goals against average.
The NEC opener for the Hawks (3-3, 0-0) will be the ninth all-time meeting between the two teams. The Statesmen lead the series 5-3, including wins in each of the past two meetings.
SJU brings a three-game winning streak to the Boz, including a 14-5 triumph over NJIT on March 16. The Hawks are ranked in the top 20 nationally in scoring defense (5th, 7.67 ga/g), man-down defense (9th, .792), turnovers per game (13th, 11.83) and saves per game (14th, 11.67).
Kyle Cain and Mike Rastivo share the team lead with 14 points apiece. Cain has a team-high 10 goals to go with four assists while Rastivo has nine goals and five assists. Faceoff specialist Billy Jardeleza is 19th in the country with a .579 winning percentage. Goalie Mike Adler is fourth in the country in save percentage (.594) and 11th in goals against average (8.26).
General admission tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased at the stadium on game day for $5. Tickets for children 12 and under are $2.
The game will be the first of two on Boswell Field on Saturday. Following the Hobart-SJU contest, William Smith lacrosse will host Union College at 3 p.m. Admission to the Herons' game is free.
