The Hobart College lacrosse team will travel to Emmitsburg, Md., for a Northeast Conference showdown at Mount St. Mary's University on Saturday, April 14. The opening faceoff at Waldron Family Stadium is set for noon.

The Statesmen (4-7, 1-2) are led offensively by junior
Chris Aslanian's 42 points on 22 goals and 20 assists. He's second in the league in assists and third in points, and ranks 25th nationally in points per game (3.81). Classmate
Matthew Pedicine has dominated the faceoff X, ranking sixth in the nation with a .667 winning percentage. In goal, sophomore
Sam Lucchesi is 16th in the country with an 8.46 goals against average and 28th in the country with a .520 save percentage. He's 4-5 in nine appearances this season.

The Mountaineers (3-8, 0-3) are paced by junior Chris DiPretoro's 28 goals and 35 points. He's third in the conference and 11th in the nation in goals per game (2.8). First-year faceoff specialist Sam Stephan has a .561 winning percentage and ranks eighth in the nation in ground balls per game (8.18). Mount St. Mary's has started three different goalies this season. First-year Luke Mutterer has played the most minutes, entering the game with a .444 save percentage, a 12.03 goals against average and a 3-4 record.

This will be the fifth meeting between the two schools with Hobart holding a 3-1 series lead. Last season, the Statesmen topped the Mount 15-8 behind eight points (6-2) from Frank Brown '17. Mount St. Mary's earned its win in the series in 2015, 10-8 in Geneva.
