ITHACA, N.Y. —The Hobart College squash team fell 9-0 to Cornell this evening. The Statesmen fall to 1-4 overall this season.
 
Junior Quinn Udy fell 9-11, 11-6, 11-1, 11-5 to Veer Chotrani at No. 1. Sophomore Cameron Temoyan was defeated by Charles Culhane 11-1, 11-3, 11-6 at No. 2. In the No. 3 spot, first-year James Mazzarelli fell to Illia Presman 11-1, 11-6, 11-4.  Junior Archie Levis lost 11-4, 11-1, 11-2 to Nicholas Goth Errington in the No. 4 spot. Brent Stein topped sophomore Quran Davis 11-0, 11-2, 11-2 at No. 5. Sophomore Eric Molina lost 11-2, 11-3, 11-6 to James Paolella in the No. 6 spot. First-year Charlie Beall fell 11-7, 11-7, 11-7 to Jared Scherl in the No. 7 spot. Junior Jeffrey Wan lost to Alex Dworetzky 11-1, 11-4, 11-7 at No. 8.
 
Hobart will be back in action Saturday, Dec. 7, when it travels to Middletown, Conn., for the 2019 Wesleyan Round Robin. The Statesmen will face Wesleyan in their first match at 1 p.m.
