NEW HAVEN, Conn.-The Hobart College squash team was defeated by Colby 7-2 in the semifinals of the Conroy Cup at the 2019 College Squash Association Team Championships. The Statesmen are now 8-12 overall this season.

Quinn Udy kept the match close, falling 13-11, 12-10, 11-9 in the No. 3 spot.

Mohamed Abdelhafez earned Hobart's points. Oakley defeated Elliot Gross 10-12, 11-6, 11-9, 11-8, in the No. 1 spot. Abdelhafez bested Alex Spafford 11-9, 7-11, 11-6, 11-9 at No. 2. Oakley is 9-2 overall this season, playing all 11 matches in the No. 1 spot. Abdelhafez is 13-7 oveall this season with an 8-3 record in the No. 2 spot.

The Statesmen will take on Connecticut College tomorrow, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. in the consolation final.
