The Hobart College lacrosse team will host Wagner College for its Northeast Conference opener on Saturday, March 16 at 3 p.m., on Boswell Field at David J Urick Stadium.
Admission to Saturday's game will be free for all fans. The Statesmen, who are receiving votes in the latest USILA Coaches poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media poll, bring a 4-1 overall record into Saturday's contest. Wagner is 1-6 this season. Hobart holds a 5-0 advantage in the all-time series against the Seahawks.
The Statesmen lead the nation in assists per game (12.00) and are second in ground balls per game (40.60), points per game (30.40), scoring margin (6.20), and scoring offense (18.40). Hobart ranks fourth in the country in faceoff win percentage (.686), and ninth in team win percentage (.800)

Chris Aslanian leads the Statesmen with 29 points and 19 assists. He has chipped in 10 goals. After a five point performance in the win over the University of Vermont, Aslanian has 162 career points on 83 goals and 79 assists, tying him with Daryl Veltman '08 for the Hobart Division I record for career points. Aslanian is also tied for second in career assists with Nate Hill '05. He needs six assists to tie Cam Stone '14 for Hobart's Division I record.

Jason Knox have each logged a team-high 15 goals. Holden has added 10 assists for 25 points, while Knox has chipped in two assists for 17 points. Senior
Matthew Pedicine has scooped up a team-high 71 ground balls. He has also won 114-of-164 faceoffs (.695). Junior
PJ Delpha leads the Statesmen with eight caused turnovers this year. Junior
Sam Lucchesi has played the majority of minutes in goal. He is sporting an 11.09 goals against average, a .542 save percentage and a 2-0 record.
Dominic Branda leads Wagner with 16 points on a team-high 12 goals and four assists. John Norton has handed out a team-high seven assists. Nick Warren leads the Seahawks with 27 ground balls and has won 68-of-147 faceoffs this season. Kyle Stofko has a team-high 22 caused turnovers. Matt Sefcik has played the most minutes in goal. He has posted a 10.06 goals against average, a .529 save percentage and a 1-6 record.
