The Hobart College squash team will be back in action this weekend Feb. 8-9 for the 2020 Liberty League Championship. The University of Rochester will host Saturday's matches, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges will host Sunday's matches.

The Statesmen will play two matches on Saturday at the Lyman Squash Center, and two matches on Sunday at the Smith Squash Center. Hobart will open the tournament against No. 26 St. Lawrence at 11 a.m. then take on Vassar at 3:30 p.m. On Sunday, the Statesmen will start the day with a match against Bard at 10 a.m. and wrap up the tournament with No. 5 Rochester at 3 p.m.

The Statesmen enter the weekend with a 2-11 record and are ranked 34th in the latest College Squash Association team rankings. Junior
Quinn Udy is a team best 7-6. He is 5-6 at No. 1 and 2-0 in the No. 2 spot.

The Saints bring a 3-16 record into this weekend's action. Karim Ibrahim has 11 wins at No. 1 for St. Lawrence, and Belal Newar has recorded 11 wins at Nos. 2 and 3.

The Brewers are ranked 47th in the nation, and hold a 5-14 record. Sameer Mustafa plays in the top spot for Vassar and is 5-9 this season.

The Raptors are entering the tournament with a 5-6 record. Artun Ak has five wins so far this season. Theo Webb has recorded three wins at No. 1.

The Yellowjackets are 5-4 this season. Ashley Davies is 5-3 in the No. 1 spot, and Matthew Toth has recorded a 5-3 mark at No. 2.
