ROCHESTER, N.Y.—The 25th-ranked Hobart College squash team was defeated by 10th-ranked Rochester 9-0 at the Lyman Squash Center this evening. The loss drops the Statesmen to 1-2 on the season.
Rochester (1-0) won all nine matches 3-0. Abdelrahman Lasheen clinched the overall victory for the Yellowjackets in the No. 2 spot with an 11-6, 11-4, 11-3 victory.
Giacomo Dalle Molle had a tight match in the No. 5 spot, but was edged by Omar Zakaria, 11-4, 11-7, 11-7.
The Statesmen will be back in action this weekend, Nov. 13-14, when they hit the road for a pair of matches. Hobart will take on St. Lawrecne on Saturday at noon and Vassar on Saunday at 11 a.m.
