The Hobart College football team will take its eight-game winning streak on the road to start Liberty League play. The No. 21 Statesmen (4-0, 0-0) visit No. 17 Ithaca (3-0, 0-0) Saturday, Oct. 2. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Butterfield Stadium.
The game will be broadcast live on WEOS-FM (89.5/90.3 in Geneva). Ithaca's ICTV will produce the live webcast. Live game statistics will be available on Ithaca's website.
Hobart is coming off a 58-14 win over Keystone on HWS Homecoming and Family Weekend. The Statesmen ground game gained 258 yards and six touchdowns against the Giants. Hobart leads the Liberty League and is 14th in the nation in rushing offense, averaging 253.0 yards per game. Running back
Tim Denham Jr. leads the Liberty League and is 16th in the nation in rushing yards with 420 (105.0/g). Running back
Rayshawn Boswell is third in the league and 44th in the country with 322 yards (80.5/g). He has scored a league-leading 10 touchdowns which ranks second in the nation.

David Krewson has completed 57% of his passes for 572 yards and three touchdowns.
Alex LaBella is his leading receiver with 15 catches for 154 yards and a touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, Hobart is sixth in the nation in total defense, allowing just 184.2 yards per game. The Statesmen are seventh in the nation in team passing efficiency defense, limiting opposing quarterbacks have a 77.37 pass efficiency rating. Hobart is allowing just 115.5 passing yards per game (7th in DIII). The Statesmen tied for fourth in the nation in total interceptions with eight. Hobart is 14th in the nation in scoring defense, giving up 9.5 points per game. Linebacker

The game will be the 34th gridiron meeting between Hobart and Ithaca. The Bombers lead the series 28-5, including a 16-0 mark in Ithaca.
The Bombers, who were off last week, are coming off a 34-0 win at Alfred on Sept. 18. The Bombers are averaging 36.3 points per game while limiting opponents to just 9.3 points per game. Ithaca averages 469.3 yards of offense per game, including 285.0 through the air.
The Bomber defense has only given up four touchdowns this season, two on the ground and two through the air. Their opponents are averaging 266.3 yards per game, including a mere 73.0 yards rushing.
