BOSTON—The William Smith College squash team posted an 8-1 victory over Hamilton College to advance to the championship match of the Walker Cup at the College Squash Association National Championships today. The Herons improved to 13-4 overall, while the Continentals slipped to 8-11.
Seeded sixth, William Smith began the tournament with a 5-4 win over third-seeded Middlebury. Seventh-seeded Hamilton knocked off second-seeded Stanford 6-3 to advance to the semifinals.

Diya Moolani prevailed in the only match to go five games, outlasting Eleanor Bailey 8-11, 11-6, 14-16, 11-7, 11-7.
Hamilton earned its only point at No. 8 as Eliza Glass beat
Molly Wachter 11-6, 11-8, 9-11, 12-10.
William Smith will take on fifth-seeded Dickinson in Sunday's championship match at 9 a.m. The Red Devils defeated fourth-seeded St. Lawrence 8-1 and top-seeded Franklin & Marshall 6-3 to reach the Walker Cup final. The teams met last month in Geneva with the Herons prevailing 6-3. Dickinson leads the all-time series 4-3.
