GENEVA, N.Y.—The sixth-ranked Trinity College squash team defeated 24th-ranked Hobart College 9-0 at the Smith Squash Courts this afternoon. The Statesmen are now 2-5 on the season while the Bantams improve to 7-0 on the year.
KEY STATS:
- Trinity won eight of the nine matches 3-0.
- The Bantams have never lost to Hobart.
MATCH MOMENTS:
- Mohamed Sharaf clinched the overall victory for Trinity in the No. 1 spot. He won 11-4, 11-5, 11-5.
- Despite losing 3-0, Omar Kiwan had a hard-fought match against Abdelrahman Nassar. Nassar won 11-8, 13-11, 11-9 at No. 2.
- Joseph Raskin Lantos won a game against Ahmed Ismail at No. 4. Ismail won 11-8, 8-11, 15-13, 11-9.

Hobart will be back in action tomorrow, Jan. 9, when it welcomes No. 22 Bowdoin to the Smith Squash Center. The match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
