The Hobart College lacrosse team will play its first road game of the 2023 season at Lehigh University Saturday, Feb. 18. The opening faceoff between the Statesmen and Mountain Hawks is scheduled for noon.

Both teams featured high-powered offense in their season openers last week. Hobart jumped out to an 11-1 lead on Canisius and cruised to a 20-14 victory, while Lehigh pulled away from Fairfield in the second half to earn a 20-10 win.

Saturday's game will be the 11th meeting between the two programs. The Statesmen lead the series 7-3, including a thrilling 14-13 win in Geneva last season.

TOP STATESMEN
- Junior attackman Anthony Dattellas was named the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week and earned a spot on the USILA National Team of the Week after producing eight points, including a career-high seven goals, against the Golden Griffins.
- Sophomores Alex Rosa and Will Delano are second on the team with three points apiece.
- First-year Seamus Schofield was 16-of-27 on faceoffs and grabbed a team-high six ground balls in the opener, while senior Adam Shea won 7-of-8 with five ground balls.
- In goal, senior Loukas Sotiropoulos made 13 saves to earn the win.

- Lehigh's starting attack combined for 22 points against the Stags.
- Senior Christian Mule' posted a game-high 10 points on four goals and six assists.
- Scott Cole logged seven points on four goals and three assists.
- Justin Tiernan recorded a game-high five goals.
- Faceofff specialist Mike Sisselberger won 19-of-30 faceoffs and collected a game-high 12 ground balls.
- Nick Pecora was the goalie of record, earning the victory with 12 saves.
