Statesmen host Bonnies in 1st A10 game

The Hobart College lacrosse team will be back on Boswell Field this Saturday, April 1 at noon to take on St. Bonaventure in its first Atlantic 10 Conference matchup. The game will be broadcast live on WEOS-FM (89.5/90.3 in Geneva). Fans can watch the contest on HWS All-Access and track the action with Live Stats. 

The Statesmen are 4-4 and looking to bounce back from a loss at Syracuse University last Saturday. Senior Adam Shea won 60% of his faceoffs and grabbed a game-high 10 ground balls against the Orange.
 
The Bonnies are 1-8 overall, coming off a 9-5 loss against Marquette University. Senior attackman Jake Rose had three of the five goals for the Bonnies.

This will be only the second meeting between the two teams. Their first meeting was back in 2019 when Hobart won 18-8 on Boswell Field.  
 
Statesmen Leaders: 

  • Junior attackman Anthony Dattellas leads the team in goals (20), assists (8) and points (28). 
  • Senior Adam Shea has won 52% of his faceoffs and leads the team in ground balls with 69. 
  • Sophomore John Jude Considine and junior Will Delano are tied for second on the team in points with 13 apiece. 
  • First-year Elhanan Wilson has started the past two games in goal. He has a .473 save percentage and a 13.88 GAA. 


About the Bonnies: 

  • Senior attackman Jake Rosa leads the team in goals (17) and points (25).
  • First-year Nolan Quinn has won 56% of his faceoffs and leads the team in ground balls with 53.
  • Graduate student Sean Westley is second on the team in points with 21. 
  • First-year Cristofero Cucciuffo has played the most minutes in net. He has a .474 save percentage and a 13.40 GAA.
