GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College baseball team will host Rochester Institute of Technology at McDonough Park, Saturday, April 22 for a Liberty League doubleheader. Game 1 is scheduled to begin at noon.
Both games will be webcast live on HWS All-Access with Live Stats on hwsathletics.com.
The 546 Food Truck will provide concessions at the ballpark, selling its signature chicken and waffles menu.

- The Statesmen are 8-15 overall, 2-9 in the Liberty League. However, Hobart has been playing well of late. The Statesmen have won two in a row, four of their past five and six of their past nine.
- Junior Ty Gallagher leads the team in batting average (.384), slugging (.630), OPS (1.145), hits (28), doubles (7), home runs (3) and RBIs (25).
- Graduate Student Michael Whiteherse leads the team in runs (28) and stolen bases with 31. He leads the nation in stolen bases per game (1.58).
- First-year pitcher Max Friedlander, who got the save in Wednesday's win over Keuka, leads the team in strikeouts (27). Sophomore Griffin Snyder is just behind him with 21 strikeouts.
SCOUTING REPORT
- The Tigers are 12-12 overall, 5-5 in the Liberty League. RIT has lost four in a row, including a 13-8 decision at St. John Fisher on Wednesday.
- Junior John Bagley leads the team in batting average (.458), OPS (1.054), runs (24) and is tied for first on the team in RBIs (20).
- First-year Jarin Moses also has 20 RBIs and leads the team in home runs with five.
- Junior John Arnold has pitched a team-high 34 innings, is 2-1 and leads the team in strikeouts with 34.
SERIES FINALE
- Hobart and RIT will complete their three-game series with a single game in Rochester at noon on Sunday.
