The third-ranked William Smith College lacrosse team hits the road this weekend as they travel to Poughkeepsie, New York, to take on Vassar College to conclude the regular season. The opening draw is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The Herons are 15-0 overall and 9-0 in Liberty League play. Last weekend, the Herons swept their games in the Capital District to clinch the Liberty League regular season title. On Friday, William Smith defeated RPI 17-7 behind
Allie McGinty's had a game-high seven points (3g, 4a). Saturday, the Herons defeated Union 16-5 with
Maddie Montgomery matching her career-high with seven goals.

The Brewers are 8-5 overall and 5-4 in Liberty League play. Vassar is on a two-game winning streak, after defeating Bard 15-4 and St. Lawrence 12-11 last week. Against the Raptors, Tess Billings and Catherine Peacock each had a hat trick. On Saturday, Lauren Johns made 13 saves, including eight in the second half.
