WEST WINDSOR, N.J.—The Hobart College rowing team was in action on Mercer Lake this morning competing against Navy and Columbia. The Statesmen took on the Midshipmen and Lions in varsity eight races.
 
The Crews competed in a headwind with heavy rain for all four races.
 
VARSITY EIGHT

• Hobart's 1V of Reed Bluestein, Bode Lonergan, Charles Watroba, Ryan Mulflur, Aidan Vanek, Owen O'Connor, Adam Pomerantz and Sean Madden finished third. The Statesmen stopped the clock at 6:38.0
• Navy, which was ranked 16th in the IRCA/IRA varsity eight poll, won the race and Columbia, which was ranked 22nd, finished second.

 
SECOND VARSITY EIGHT

• Corin Wiggins, Conrad Palmer, Ben Brodney, Mason Fairfield, Colin Mester, Ryan Behar, Trevor Beatley Sam Peeler and Brogan Dietsche powered the Statesmen's 2V8. Hobart, which was ranked 25th in the 2V8 poll, stopped the clock at 6:44.9.
• The 13th-ranked Midshipmen won and the Lions, who were receiving votes, were second.

 
THIRD VARSITY EIGHT

• Leah Henning, Jayden Dasher, Álvaro Paulin, Magnus von Krusenstiern, Kevin Frost, Jake Hodge, Tibor Teleki, Ian Selover and Bryce Miltenberger took on Navy head-to-head. The Statesmen, who were ranked 18th in the 3V8 poll, crossed the line second with a time of 6:51.9.
• The Midshipmen, who were ninth, won by 30 seconds.

 
 
FOURTH VARSITY EIGHT

• Isabel Goldblatt-Hamilton, Michael Burns, Eric Koon, Michael Gilbert, Jake Shue von Krustiern, Robert Roseboro, Zachary Chamish and Calix Boldt took on a pair of Navy boats to close out the day. They finished third with a time of 7:30.2.
