1/11/2024 2:15:00 PM

GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College basketball team will return to Bristol Gym this weekend for a pair of Liberty League games. The Statesmen will host Bard College at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12 and Skidmore at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13.

Both games will be webcast on HWS All-Access and broadcast on WHWS-FM (105.7).

Hobart carries a 10-2 overall record into the weekend, but looks to rebound from its first two losses last weekend at RIT and Ithaca. The Statesmen are 3-2 in conference play, tied for third place. Hobart is a half game behind the Tigers and Bombers, who sit atop the standings at 3-1.

Bard travels to Geneva with an 8-5 overall record and a 3-3 mark in league play. The Raptors aim to halt a four-game slide, including a 78-69 loss at Union on Tuesday.

Skidmore will battle RIT Friday night before heading to Bristol Gym. The Thoroughbreds improved to 3-9 overall and 1-5 in the Liberty League following an 82-71 win over Vassar Tuesday night.
