The Hobart and William Smith Colleges squash teams return to the Smith Squash Center on Saturday, Jan. 27, to take on Franklin & Marshall College. The Herons are ranked 14th in this week's College Squash Association Poll and the Statesmen are 20th. The Diplomats are ranked 18th in the men's poll and 23rd in the women's poll. The matches are scheduled to get underway at noon.

Before Saturday's match, the HWS squash teams will honor their senior classes. The ceremony will start at 11:45 a.m.

ABOUT THE HERONS
- William Smith is 7-3 this season. They had their six-match winning streak snapped by 16th-ranked Middlebury on Sunday.
- Senior Rafaela Albuja Sanchez leads the way for the Herons. She is 8-2 on the season, playing all 10 matches in the No. 1 spot. She has won seven straight.
- Fellow senior Laila Selim is 7-3 in the No. 2 spot. She has won six straight matches.
- In total, six Herons will be honored on Saturday. As a class, they have compiled a 39-11 record in three seasons on campus. They won last year's Liberty League Championship and the Walker Cup in 2022.

ABOUT THE STATESMEN
- Hobart is 5-7 overall, including a 2-1 mark in Geneva.
- First-year Dhirren Rajarathinam is 10-1 overall this season, riding a six-match win streak. Rajarathinam is 4-0 at No. 2 and 6-1 at No. 3.
- Senior Omar Kiwan is 8-4 on the season. He is 4-0 at No. 3.
- Six Statesmen will be honored on Saturday. The Class of 2024 has compiled a 27-27 overall record and won the Conroy Cup in 2022.

ABOUT FRANKLIN & MARSHALL
- The Diplomats men's team is 9-6 this season and enters the weekend with three straight wins. They will take on Rochester on Friday night.
- Sharan Punjabi and Jordan Sprecher share the team lead with 11 wins each. Punjab is 10-4 at No. 2 and Sprecher is 8-3 at No. 4.
- Kyle Broadhurst is 10-4 in the No. 1 spot.
- The Diplomats women's team is 4-10. They are coming off back-to-back 7-2 losses to Bowdoin and Georgetown last week.
- Aryaa Ogale leads the team with eight wins. She is 8-6, playing all 14 matches at No. 2.
- Gurlin Kaur is 6-8 in the No. 1 spot.
