GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart football team will face off against Rochester for the Centennial Cup at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16. The Statesmen will also welcome military and first responders to Urick Stadium to salute their selfless service to others.
Prior to the start of the game, the Statesmen will celebrate the 21 members of its senior class, who have compiled a record of 32-10, captured the 2024 Liberty League Championship and earned three bowl bids.
U.S. Navy veteran Rena Nessler of Geneva will perform the pregame coin toss. She is retired from the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. A dedicated and distinguished member of the American Legion, she was the first woman to serve as commander of the American Legion Department of New York. She is also a former commander of the Ontario Country, 7th District Legion and the Geneva Legion post.
Saturday's regular season finale will be the 116th edition of the long-standing rivalry with the winner laying claim to the Centennial Cup. Commissioned in honor of the 100th meeting between the programs in 2007, the Statesmen have won the 15 of the 16 times it's been contested. Overall, Hobart leads the series 60-48-7.

KEEP AN EYE ON
- Senior kicker Tobias Wefering enters the game with 199 career points. Only nine players in Hobart history have scored 200-plus points in their career. Wefering would be just the second kicker to hit that milestone following Kyle Hackett '21 (208).
- Junior wide receiver Ahmad Crowell has 24 receptions for 588 yards and a league-high eight touchdowns. His 24.5 yards per catch average is the second highest in a season by a Statesman behind Andy Pirozzolo's record 27.0 in 1999. Crowell needs two TD receptions to become just the fifth Hobart receiver with 10 or more touchdown catches in a season and the first since Brandon Shed had a record 17 in 2016.
- First-year wide receiver Johnny Harding has a team-high 36 receptions. The Hobart record for receptions by a first-year in a season is 37 set by Nate Waye in 1991.
