The William Smith squash team was defeated by Hamilton 9-0 in its home opener on Sunday, Nov. 18.

MATCH SUMMARY

• First-year Reshika Rajarathinam put up a strong fight in the No. 1 spot, but was edged in four games. Sarah Stonestreet won, 11-9, 8-11, 12-14, 8-11. 
• In the No. 9 spot, sophomore Grace Whittaker had a hard fought match in the No. 9 spot, but was edged, 11-1, 11-7, 11-7.
• Hamilton won eight of their nine points in 3-0 sweeps.
