GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart lacrosse team will host Canisius Tuesday, Feb. 19 in the Thomas B. Poole '61 and Family Sports Dome. The Statesmen and Golden Griffins will face off at 5 p.m.
Capacity of the Poole Family Dome is limited by fire code, so there will be no general admission to Tuesday's game. Spectators will be limited to people on the teams' official pass lists.
The game will be broadcast live on

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT HOBART
- The Statesmen (0-2) are seeking their first win of the young season, having tangled with a pair of top 20 teams to start the year.
- Graduate student Adam Shea is ranked in the top 25 in the nation in ground balls per game (17th, 7.5) and faceoff percentage (24th, .600). He holds the program's Division I career record for ground balls (333) and is third in faceoffs won (537).
- Junior attackman Will Delano had two extra-man goals so far, which is ninth in the nation. Eight players are tied for the lead with three.
- As a team, the Statesmen have converted on 40% of their extra-man opportunities (4-10).
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT CANISIUS
- The Golden Griffins (1-1) are coming off an 8-7 win at Belarmine on Saturday.
- Senior midfielder Jackson Webster has a team-high eight points on six goals and two assists. He's recorded four points in each game this year.
- Sophomore Micah Hanson has won 18-of-46 faceoffs and leads the team with 11 ground balls.
COMMON GROUND
- Both Hobart and Canisius have played nationally-ranked Michigan. The Golden Griffin opened the season with a 21-5 loss to the Wolverines, while the Statesmen aim to rebound from an 18-8 loss at Michigan this past Saturday.
SERIES HISTORY
- Tuesday's game will be the 24th meeting between Hobart and Canisius in a series that began in 1995.
- The Statesmen are 22-1 all-time against the Golden Griffins, including 14-0 in Geneva.
