ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.--The 16th-ranked Hobart volleyball team cruised to a 3-1 win over Bard at the Stevenson Athletic Center this evening. With the win, the Statesmen improve to 11-4 on the season while Bard falls to 5-8 on the season.

Andrew Kim led Hobart in the win. He had a match-high 21 kills on 27 swings, hitting a season-high .741. It was the fifth time this season he recorded 20 or more kills in a match. Kim added four digs and an ace in the win. First-years
Noah DeLong and
Grayson Getz added 16 and 12 kills, respectively. Both were career highs. Getz had his 12 kills on 16 swings. First-year
Zack Farren added a career-high 49 assists.

MATCH MOMENTS
- The Statesmen came out of the gates strong taking the first set 25-9. Hobart scored the first four points in the match with three kills from Kim and never looked back. Farren had 12 of his assists in the first set. Hobart hit .520 in the opening set while holding Bard to -.294 hitting percentage.
- The Raptors took the second set 25-22. Bard Built a 5-1 lead in the set, but then Hobart went on a 9-1 run to force a Raptor timeout. Bard rallied late in the set scoring eight of the final 12 points. The Raptors hit .129 in the second set while the Statesmen were held to a -.029 hitting percentage.
- Hobart responded well in the third, putting down 17 kills (.600). Bard also limited its errors hitting .222 in the third set. Kim notched seven kills and DeLong notched five to lead the Statesmen. Farren had 16 of Hobart's 17 assists in the set.
- Hobart took the fourth set 25-17. Kim had seven kills on nine swings in the set for a .778 hitting percentage. Farren added another 13 assists. The Raptors hit .217 for the final set.

- Kim led Hobart with 21 kills (.741). DeLong had 16 kills (.162) and Getz had 12 kills (.750). Kincade Avery had a team-high seven kills for Bard.
- Farren had 49 of Hobart's 55 assists in the match. Nico Diaz-Aguilar and DeLong had 13-11 digs respectively.
- Hobart had 10 aces from the service line compared to Bard's five. Aiden Kemora had five of Hobart's 10 aces.

Hobart is back in action tomorrow when it heads to Poughkeepsie, New York, for a match-up with No. 10 Vassar. Â First serve is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. It will be the Statesmen's first United Volleyball Conference contest.
