The 21st-ranked Hobart squash team will travel to St. Lawrence this weekend, Feb. 10-11 to compete in the 2024 Liberty League Men's Squash Championship. The Statesmen, who are the second seed will take on seventh-seeded Bard at 11 a.m. in the Leithead Fieldhouse to open the tournament.

Hobart earned the second seed in the tournament by virtue of being the second-highest ranked Liberty League team in the College Squash Association team rankings. The Hobart-Bard winner will take on the winner of sixth-seeded Vassar and third-seeded St. Lawrence at 3:30 p.m. The loser will progress to the consolation draw. Hobart has won two Liberty League Championships (2004 and 2005).

ABOUT THE STATESMEN
- Hobart completed regular season play with a 5-4 win at Hamilton, raising its record to 6-8 overall.
- First-year Dhirren Rajarathinam enters the tournament with an eight-match win streak. He is 12-1 overall this season. Rajarathinam has been named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week five times.
- Senior Omar Kiwan has a record of 9-5 this season, including a 5-1 record in the No. 3 spot.
- Hussein Labib is coming off a sweep against his opponent at Hamilton and has five wins at No. 1 this season.
