The 14th-ranked William Smith squash team will look to repeat as Liberty League Champion when it travels to St. Lawrence this weekend, Feb. 10-11, to compete in the 2024 Liberty League Women's Squash Championship. The Herons have won two of the last three conference titles.

William Smith earned the No. 1 seed and a bye into the semifinals by virtue of being the highest-ranked Liberty League team in the College Squash Association Team Rankings. The Herons will take on the winner of the No. 4 Haverford vs. No. 5 Mt. Holyoke. They will play their first match on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Leithead Fieldhouse.

ABOUT THE HERONS
- William Smith carries a 9-3 overall record into the Tournament.
- The Herons closed out the regular season a sweep at Hamilton.
- Senior Rafaela Albuja Sanchez leads the team with a 10-2 record playing all 12 matches at the No. 1 spot. She enters the weekend on a nine-match winning streak.
- Fellow senior Laila Selim is 8-4 at the No. 2 spot and sophomore Nathalie Sim also has eight wins and is on a six-match win streak in the No. 3 spot.
