The William Smith lacrosse team will be back in action Wednesday, March 6, when it takes on SUNY Geneseo in a non-conference contest. The opening draw is set for 4:30 p.m. The game will be played in the Thomas B. Poole '61 and Family Sports Dome.

Capacity of the Poole Family Dome is limited by fire code, so there will be no general admission. The game will be broadcast live on WHWS-FM (105.7 in Geneva). Fans can watch the contest on HWS All-Access and rack the action with Live Stats.

The Herons, who remained at No. 3 in both the IL Women/IWLCA poll and the US Lacrosse Magazine poll, are coming off an 11-10 overtime win against then No. 7 York (Pa.) on Saturday. Sophomore
Natalie Daniels had four goals, including the game-winning goal and had eight draw controls. Senior
Maddie Montgomery had five goals and broke William Smith's career goals record in the contest. Junior
Maura Smeader went the distance in goal and made eight saves, including a key save in overtime. She also had six ground balls. Daniels and Smeader earned spots on the Liberty League's Weekly honor roll for their performances.

Geneseo enters the week with a 3-0 overall record. The Knights beat St. Lawrence 16-3 on Saturday. Maddie Brown had a game-high six points on four goals and three assists. Emily DeJohn played all 60 minutes in goal. She made three saves.
